We are pleased to announce an official partnership between Cogrounded and SuccessABILITY to bring the evidence-based Assistive Soft Skills and Employment Training (ASSET) and Employment Preparation and Soft Skills (EPASS) programs to students and young adults across Michigan.
Originally created and researched at Michigan State University, the ASSET and EPASS curricula have been tested and proven to equip transition age youth with disabilities or neurodiversity with the soft skills, employment readiness tools, and real-world confidence they need to thrive after school.
Since 2022, Cogrounded has been the commercial development partner of ASSET and EPASS, and SuccessABILITY brings deep experience supporting the implementation of these curricula as well as working with schools and vocational rehabilitation agencies, including Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) and the Bureau of Services for Blind Persons (BSBP).
And starting with the 2025–2026 school year, this exclusive partnership with SuccessABILITY will enable schools, districts, and vocational rehabilitation programs across Michigan to access these proven programs through their experienced team of trained facilitators.
We are thrilled that this partnership will:
- Deliver ASSET and EPASS across a variety of school and community-based settings
- Coordinate with Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS), Bureau of Services for Blind Persons (BSBP), and local education partners to ensure student access
- Offer in-school and after-school delivery models for program adoption
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to educational equity, postsecondary readiness, and meaningful workforce preparation for all learners. For more information about bringing ASSET or EPASS to your school or organization, please contact:
